The Akebono brake pad set is a high-quality product with a great performance for everyday use. The box comes with four brake pads, four metal clips, and a small pack of grease, but no other hardware. The pads are a perfect fit for 03-08 Toyota Corolla models, and they come with a little metal clip. However, they do not fit other models like the 2009 Corolla s or the 2006 Highlander hybrid limited edition. Customers have reported great value for money but have also recommended using a short box to set the calipers on during installations since they are heavy. Additionally, if you're not bleeding any brake fluid, keep an eye on the brake fluid level to avoid making a mess. Lastly, be warned that the pads have an initial burning brake smell, which goes away after a few hundred miles of driving.
