フクイ アサト (Author, Illustrator) Editorial Review
The editorial review of the product reveals that it is well-regarded among customers who are interested in renovating traditional Japanese houses (kominka) through DIY methods. Users appreciate the book for its clear explanations and practical illustrations, which make understanding the basic Construction techniques surrounding ceilings, floors, roofs, and walls accessible even to those with a moderate level of woodworking knowledge. Many users find the content to be an effective reference guide that empowers them to tackle their renovation projects, although it is emphasized that certain complex tasks should be left to professionals. The content covers various aspects of home renovation, including case studies and discussions that provide a broader perspective on the realities of costs and challenges associated with such projects. Some reviewers expressed a sense of realism regarding the difficulties of engaging in these activities, particularly the financial aspects and the lack of job opportunities in rural settings. The book has also been recognized for motivating novice DIY enthusiasts by instilling a sense of possibility. However, the reception appears mixed; while the instructional content is praised, some reviewers felt that the book doesn't delve deeply enough into specific techniques, suggesting that it might not be comprehensive enough for more experienced individuals. They mentioned that for detailed woodworking techniques, additional resources may be needed. Moreover, some customers were disappointed with the condition of the book they received, noting it arrived in a less-than-ideal state, which detracted from their overall experience. **
