Bunlardan Türkan Hanım'ın Ölümü yazarı tarafından tiyatro oyunu olarak yeniden yazıldı ve Ankara Devlet Tiyatrosu Şinasi Sahnesi'nde 1990-91 sezonunda sahnelendi. Öykü ve oyun metni birlikte bu yıl Yapı Kredi Yayınları arasında çıkmıştı.Yalnızlık ve umutsuzluk dolu öykülerinde düşsel, şiirli bir hava yaratmakta başarı gösterdiği kabul edilen Selçuk Baran, Behçet Necatigil'den Vedat Günyol'a, Füsun Akatlı'dan Selim İleri'ye, Hulki Aktunç'tan İbrahim Yıldırım'a, İnci Aral'dan Behçet Çelik'e pek çok yazarın övgüyle üstünde durduğu, ancak günümüz okuru tarafından daha fazla keşfedilmeyi bekleyen bir yazar.İçime zehrini salıp gitti.
