PUR Pitcher Replacement Filter Single Pack

The PUR Pitcher Replacement Filter Single Pack is designed to improve the taste and purity of your drinking water. It fits larger Pur containers, such as the 18 cup filter pitcher, and provides good filtration. However, some customers have complained about the taste of the water after using this filter, claiming that it tastes bad like tap water. There are also concerns with the high price of this filter compared to buying a whole new unit that includes a filter. Some customers have purchased off-brand filters at a lower cost, but have had issues with the taste of the water, indicating that sometimes you truly do get what you pay for. One advantage of this filter is that it is specifically designed to fit the Pur pitcher, while other brands claim they fit but actually do not. The packaging of the product can be misleading, with some customers receiving expired filters that have been sitting in inventory for years. This is a major cause for concern, as older filters are not as effective at removing contaminants from water. Overall, if you're looking for a replacement filter for your Pur pitcher, this product does the job, but with mixed results.
