The SALVIMAR Covered Torpedo Buoy is a marker float that is suitable for spearfishing, but not suitable as a drag float for larger gamefish. It inflates and deflates easily by mouth filler, has a flag size of 8x7.25 inches, and comes with an orange nylon weave line with plastic snap clips. While the product is well-made and durable, there are some downsides to it. The flag is not of the legal required size and cannot be retrofitted. The rope length is plenty, but thin and not tangle proof. The buoy doesn't sit upright in the water, and it falls over, causing the flag to be under the water. It requires a 2 lb weight inside the bottom of the enclosure for it to balance in the water. Overall, the SALVIMAR Covered Torpedo Buoy is a good deal for the price, but it will require some effort on the user's end to make it work.
